Make YOU a priority
I am often asked how I have enough time and/or how I have enough energy to workout as much as I do. Well, first - let me tell you that I am NOT as in-shape as I would like to be. Mainly because I splurge on unhealthy foods and have gotten away from my Paleo lifestyle a bit. Especially this past summer. But we aren't talking about food just yet.
Anyway....The bottom line for finding time is making it a priority. I often hear people say "I don't have time" and that makes my eyes roll so hard that they about pop out of my head. YOU are a priority. Your mental and physical health is a priority. Make time for it. Build 30 minutes into each day to do something physically healthy for yourself. Don't scroll on Facebook, don't watch garbage reality shows (or TV at all), make time for it.
My other suggestion is to find a supportive group of people who lift you up. The people I workout with motivate me every single day. I can't say enough about my gym rat buddies. They are encouraging, accepting, motivating, funny, and always lend an ear when I feel stressed or sad. There truly is nothing better than this community of like-minded people, and I will forever be grateful that they are in my life.
The energy to workout comes from not only eating healthy and clean options, but taking vitamins, using essential oils, drinking water, ridding my body of toxins that bring my frequency down, getting enough sleep, and meditating to keep the proper mindset.
Today I went for a run and listened to a couple podcasts (favorite Podcasts are listed below). I always get inspired while I am running, so I came home and did a live video in my essential oil group. It's called "Gym Bag Essentials" and I want to share it with all of you. The products I describe are Young Living products because....well, they are the BEST and have helped me tremendously.
This is me. No makeup. In workout clothes. Hair in a ponytail. Saying "ummm" and "amazing" a lot. I am not perfect, but I am perfectly me.
